Family history of breast cancer?

If a close family member has had breast cancer, then you are at increased risk. Check your breasts every month and see your doctor if you notice any change. Breast screening by mamogram should be performed on any female within 5 years of the age of their relative when they were diagnosed with breast cancer, and on ALL women over the age of 40.
